QUALIFIED ARTWORK: Accepting all forms of figurative artwork. Artists are welcome to submit artwork that is traditional as well as work that is representational or pushes the boundaries of what is figurative. There is not a quota on the number of specific media such as oil, watercolor, pastel, photography, sculpture or any other discipline of art.

Finalists will be selected for artistic excellence.

SUBMIT EARLY: Artists are encouraged to submit early and participate in the pre-exhibit show which begins online July 25, 2010.

SUBMIT: 1 or 2 works of art per submission.

ENTRY FEE: $25 USD to submit up to 2 works of art.

AWARDS: $2,200 USD Total Value

COMMISSION FREE: Infinity Art Gallery promotes artists to art magazines, museums, galleries and art collectors through online juried exhibits. Art collectors are encouraged to visit the artists’ websites and purchase art directly from submitting artists.

Redux is the premier contemporary art venue in South Carolina offering opportunities for emerging and established artists to exhibit in historic downtown Charleston, SC. Exhibitions are not limited to any media, and all applicants will be considered for solo, group, and two person exhibitions and residencies in 2011.
Redux currently presents six to eight exhibitions each year, featuring work by internationally renowned and local, emerging and mid-career artists. We shoot for diversity in style, media and subject matter when planning our season.
Thanks to the generosity of the Andy Warhol Foundation, this year, three artists will be awarded an honorarium up to $2,000. This honorarium is to help artists offset installation and travel costs. Additionally, Redux will publish an exhibition catalog.
To apply for an exhibition, residency, or to submit your curatorial proposal for the 2011 calendar you must submit the following:

  • Application (visit to download forms)
  • $35 Application Fee (pay online with paypal or mail a check with your application)
  • Portfolio of recent works (5 – 15) that can be in CD, DVD, or video format. (both MAC and PC formatted discs accepted – please send still JPG images no larger than 1200 pixels at their greatest dimension))
  • Inventory list including titles, dates completed, sizes, and mediums
  • Artist Statement
  • Artistic Resume
  • Self-addressed, stamped envelope for the return of your materials AND notification.

Fellowship 2010 International Photography Competition Call for Entries

The Silver Eye Center for Photography is pleased to announce Fellowship 2010, our international photography competition. Our distinguished juror is Deborah Klochko, Executive Director of the Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego, California.

As we enter our 11th Fellowship year, the competition is now open to all international photographers, not just Silver Eye members, and we are now awarding two Fellowships.

  • A $3,500 award is open to all eligible photographers.
  • A $1,500 award is open only to Pennsylvania residents (who may apply in both categories).

Both winning artists’ work will be exhibited at Silver Eye in shows opening in late November 2010.
